Here's evidence that the partnership between Toronto and London is strengthening. Smoke Dawg, a representative of the Halal Gang, is a young rapper who's buzzing in the 6 -- especially after French Montana came through and remixed his biggest hit, "Trap House," earlier this summer. His could have another hit on his hands with his new single, "Overseas," on which he was blessed with a hook and a vicious verse by UK top man Skepta as well as suspenseful trap production from Murda Beatz, who just produced Rick Ross' latest single. After OVO and Boy Better Know announced a partnership earlier this year, Skepta has been deemed a member of the Drake-helmed label, and Murda has also been closely affiliated, producing for most of OVO's Toronto-based acts.
